Dr Nick Hinds - Info Session - General Health for young athletes

Dr Nick Hinds will be kicking off a series of information sessions for young athletes and their parents around heath and wellbeing. Dr Hinds will be talking about the general health elements for kids that are heavily involved in sports, sharing information and taking questions on topics like – immunity and preventing illness, when should you involve your GP, Blood testing, general health, balancing life and sport and some general Mental Health signs and symptoms. 

Dr. Nick Hinds is a GP at Yeppoon Family Practice with a keen interest in sports and nutritional medicine. When he’s not at his desk you might see him running, riding or swimming his way to his next triathlon. Nick completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland and spent much of his training in rural and regional Queensland. He has obtained his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has completed further training with the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine. As a former graduate of Yeppoon State High School, he has enjoyed the opportunity of returning to the Capricorn Coast and once again being part of this great community.
